Hello! My name is Mia Richards, and I am a first-year communication design major in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati (UC).
I have always been passionate about the arts and have developed a strong interest in design. I began my graphic design journey in my freshman year of high school, where I was first introduced to Photoshop techniques, photography, and the fundamentals of creating digital art. From then on, I have always wanted to make a positive impact and solve problems through my creativity.
I was adopted from China and moved to Westerville, Ohio. When I'm not designing, I am often hanging out with my parents, two older brothers, or my friends. I also enjoy playing tennis or crafting, like sewing, embroidering, or crocheting.
